TransFollow respects the privacy of all users of their site and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. We use your data to make the services run as quickly and easily as possible. For the rest, we will only use this data with your permission.
TransFollow uses the data collected to provide the following services to its customers:
- If you create an account, we will need your name, e-mail address and telephone number to create an account and to inform you about the progress of the electronic waybill.
- You must always sign up for the newsletter and give permission for the newsletter to be sent. When you register, your e-mail address will be requested. If you have signed up for the newsletter yourself, you will receive a maximum of twice a month the newsletter containing the latest news and information.
- Information about the use of the site, the portal and/or the app and the feedback we receive from visitors help us to further develop and improve the site. You can give feedback by sending an e-mail to info@TransFollow.org.
1.1 Storage of personal data
Data provided for the purpose of creating an account, preparing a transport or buying credits will be stored for a maximum of 7 years. If you have signed up for the newsletter, this information will be kept until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
2 Other parties
We do not give your personal data to other companies or bodies, except if this is necessary for the service or if the law requires us to do so. For example, TransFollow allows for the exchange of personal data between users. The electronic waybills (TF Waybills) may contain various personal data about (personnel employed by) the sender, carrier and recipient, which each of the parties must necessarily be able to access. The graphical representation of the system ensures that the user is given as much insight as possible into what personal data is stored and is visible to other persons.
When TransFollow receives personal information from users through third parties, for example because your own software is connected to TransFollow, TransFollow cannot guarantee that this third party software deals with these parties in a reliable and secure manner. Users are advised to read the privacy statement of these third parties.
Some partners are located outside the European Union, such as social media partners. By means of social media buttons on our website, the administrators of these services collect your personal data.
3.1 The type of cookies we use on our website

Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the analytics information obtained for other Google services.

The information that Facebook collects is anonymized as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by Facebook on servers in the United States. Facebook has to comply with the Safe Harbor principles and are affiliated to the Safe Harbor programme of the American Department of Commerce.
