TransFollow cooperates closely with (inter)national transport and logistics organizations. Distributors in the various countries in combination with software solution providers that integrated TransFollow into their software, are important partners and stakeholders.

Purpose of the Role 

In this position, you will have the opportunity to meet a vast network of dominant players in the supply chain industry. You will identify in close collaboration with our marketing department and sales representatives customer groups and target industries. With those identified groups you will collaborate closely in order to analyse their business processes and translate needs into our technical solutions and products. Your role is pivotal in bridging customer requirements with effective process solutions, ensuring successful implementation.  As you grow in this position you will also be involved in the selling of our products to dedicated customer groups. From the initial introduction to in-depth product demonstrations and a profound sales process, you will land new customers and expand our footprint.

Having the ability to work with and in various regions, you provide insight to sales experts and support them in dealing with the larger accounts. On you own initiative you will be able to identify new markets as well as potential product enhancements that will suit customer needs in areas where we are not yet active. You are a master in keeping track of your efforts and results and see the required registrations in our CRM system (Monday.com) in combination with a perfect contract management as a goal in itself.

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Research markets, prospects and identify key stakeholders to generate interest
  • Proactively identifying clients that may benefit from using TransFollow using a range of outreach methods including cold calling and emailing
  • Honing a consultative selling style, built on trust, to pass engaged leads on to the Account Executives
  • Building relationships with prospects across multiple sectors and identifying new opportunities for the Account Executive team
  • Effectively keep on top of your sales pipeline and update all activity on Monday.com
  • Reach and exceed key performance indicators including leads generated and qualified appointments set
  • Develop skills necessary for promotion into a full, closing role with individual targets
  • Analyse client business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate client requirements into actionable process designs.
  • Support the implementation of software solutions to enhance client operations.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, guiding them in using solutions effectively.
What is your profile?
  • Bachelor's degree (HBO/WO) in ICT, Technical Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong sales and client facing skills with commercial and marketing mindset.
  • Excellent communication, listening, writing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a curious mindset.
  • Goal-oriented and creative in problem-solving.
  • Adaptability to switch between multiple projects.
  • Interest in ICT and technical fields.
  • English is our corporate language and as we are based in Amsterdam, Dutch as well as another European language (French or Spanish) would be a plus.
