• April 4 - Take your organization's digital mindset to the next level
Digitization should be a means for companies, not a goal. Digitization enables more efficient working, allowing you to optimize processes and increase customer satisfaction. It contributes to improving entrepreneurship.
Digitization is a connecting factor. Both within your own organization and with your customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. We are working more and more paperless, systems are taking over tasks from employees. We increasingly make decisions based on data instead of experience and/or feeling. The role of digitization and data is becoming increasingly important, but how do you take the next step? How do you prepare for the future?
Digital mindset
To connect all these aspects, a digital mindset in your organization is necessary. An insight into the possibilities offered by digitization and data. What systems and data sources are available? What do these mean for my staff, what is the impact on my processes, how much budget do I have to reserve and what are the developments at my clients and suppliers? In short: what is your vision in the field of digitization?
Digital standard
For example, how is an order via e-mail easily successfully linked to the ERP system? How will you realize digital connections between the current internal systems, or with customer systems in the future?
This requires knowledge of the various digital standards that enable the connection between systems. Once you have taken these steps, the question remains: how do you make the right choice for possible IT support?
Speakers from practice
In this session, two companies share their experiences of how they went through this process. Principal researcher Sebastian Piest of the University of Twente will also speak about the need for a (digital) connection.
Target audience
Do you want to take the existing digital processes and systems within the company to a higher level? Then this opening session is really something for you. The aim is to prepare the systems and processes for the requirements of the (near) future. Your digital basic infrastructure already seems to be in order, but there is still a lot to do for the next step.

• April 5 - Decisive work by sharing data in your logistics chain
What role does digitization play in collaboration? Collaboration happens in many different ways. Horizontal collaboration with, for example, your colleagues and vertically with your clients and suppliers.
When working together, sharing data and information with each other is important. Technological developments and the use of standardization such as the Open Trip Model, the use of the eCMR, but also the emergence of platform technologies make sharing data easier and more efficient.
What role does this play in fostering collaboration? Does good digitization lead to more collaboration or is digitization the final piece of the discussion about collaboration between parties?
Changed requirements
The need to exchange data is increasing rapidly. Real-time insight into the status of a shipment, reports on CO2 performance, exchange of cargo and resources. Need is the result of collaboration, but how do collaboration and digitization relate to each other? Do parties find each other faster and better because they are extensively digitized or are they going to digitize because they have made agreements to work together or do platforms and control towers bring parties together more quickly, resulting in more collaborations?
Trends and developments
This session examines how companies can better collaborate with customers and suppliers by digitally connecting with each other. In this way we make clear on the basis of which arguments you can decide that digitization for the benefit of a collaboration is useful. And when you should not do this.
Speakers from practice
In this session, among others, general manager Dirk Jan van Schaik of the transport company Millenaar van Schaik explains how they have realized improvement processes with their customers and cooperation partners.
Target audience
Do you have many collaborations with suppliers and customers and do you want to raise the quality of the collaboration to a higher level? Then this session is really something for you!

• April 6 - The eCMR as a connecting factor
During the corona pandemic, we are seeing an accelerated digitization of supply chains. The use of digital transport documents such as the eCMR is also becoming established. Many companies are moving, especially now that it is also allowed in Germany from April 5.
All parties in the supply chain, large and small, must be given the opportunity to work paperless. More than that: everyone should be able to benefit from the smarter and simpler information exchange that the eCMR offers. After all, that leads to more efficiency in the supply chain and that is good for all of us!
Developments follow at a rapid pace. More and more small and large parties are taking steps with the eCMR. What do you do within your organization? Do you wait for the client or customer to enforce it or do you take control yourself?
In this session we show what it means to work digitally with TransFollow. And how this can have a positive impact on your organization.
Speakers from practice
This way, various e-CMR users have their say. They share their experiences and how the eCMR TransFollow is a connecting factor in their chain and the value they create with it.
Target audience
This session is aimed at companies that want to learn more about how the eCMR TransFollow can form the digital foundation for their business and their supply chain.

• April 7 - How to get successful staff involved in digitization processes
The human factor is by far the most important factor in the successful application of digitization in a company. Does the knowledge level of the employees match the ambition of the company and the possibilities offered by digitization?
Companies can ensure that the level of knowledge remains in line with developments in various ways. For example, by training existing staff through training and education, recruiting new staff, but also by deploying temporary expertise or students.
The innovations and technical possibilities of digitization seem endless. Hardware and software are undergoing turbulent developments that make logistics processes faster and more efficient.
Getting employees along
The development of employees in the digital field is of great importance in this regard. The acceptance of new working methods can be difficult. How do you teach employees to deal with the new content of their position? They are often also responsible for the correct data input of the digital systems. How do you ensure that this quality is maintained at a minimum or increases within your company? Issues can also arise about how you can take into account the redundancy of functions, when digitization is further implemented within your company.
change management
In this session we will discuss the change management that is necessary when implementing digitization within your company. How do you include the digitally literate in the organization? What capacity is needed and what role can the DINAMO model play in this? You will also gain insight into how students offer opportunities to raise the digitization knowledge within your company to a higher level. This session provides concrete tools to guide digitization processes in the right direction.
Speakers from practice
In this session, transport company Fritom Veenstra will share their experience. They explain how they have included their staff and company in digital change processes. What place does digitization have in (logistics) education today and how can you use students within your company to help you with logistics issues? You will get answers to all these questions during this session.
Target audience
Do you want to get started with the implementation of digitization processes within your organization? Then this session is really something for you!

• April 8 - Collaborate efficiently with your software supplier
Successful implementation of IT systems is the result of good cooperation between the company and the IT supplier. Practice is often unruly and there are many hurdles to overcome during an implementation. What makes a good IT implementation? What skills do you need as an entrepreneur to prevent the IT project from getting out of hand?
In this session, companies share the most important lessons learned. What should you pay attention to during the preparation, implementation and aftercare, how can you work together with your supplier, how do you ensure that you know what you are buying and that it works as expected.
This session provides insight that implementation processes are often complicated, but with a good approach can lead to a good result for all parties involved.
Speakers from practice
In this session, VTS transport and Eric Smulders of DALTI (association of IT suppliers) have their say. They share their experiences about successfully entering into partnerships with a software supplier.
Target audience
Are you faced with the choice of a new supplier or do you want to optimize the relationship with your current supplier? Then join this session.
